YNG Impact Officer

MISSION OF THE yng IMPACT OFFICER

Support the community to enable all YNGers to deliver impact through their careers, family and community.


KEY GOALS of the yng IMPACT OFFICER

  • Serve as an adviser to community members regarding YNG’s impact opportunities and strategic partners.

  • Serve as a connector of members in your community who are creating an impact and raise awareness of YNG.


RESPONSIBILITIES of the yng IMPACT OFFICER

  • Partner with Assistant Learning Officer to ensure impactful community programming.

  • Raise awareness of YNG members creating an impact who could serve as community resources.

  • Track members creating an impact outside of YNG and share their impact within and beyond your community.

  • Work with the Forum Officer to include a focus on impact in forum updates and create relevant impact forums.

  • Identify your successor.

TIME INVESTMENT OF THE YNG IMPACT OFFICER

  • Participate in all executive committee meetings - monthly/bimonthly/quarterly.

  • Meet with community peers as needed.

  • Attend an onboarding call


EXPERIENCE YOU’LL GAIN AS the yng IMPACT OFFICER

  • Connections with members creating an impact outside of YNG and the opportunity to learn from them and inspire others.

  • Contribute to raising the profile of YPO as a community of leaders creating an impact.

  • Influence without authority.


QUALIFYING CRITERIA of the yng IMPACT OFFICER

  • YNGer in good standing between the age of 18-30

  • Possess leadership qualities that include open mind, community builder, listening, empathy and commitment to growth of others.

  • Passion for social impact, creating connections and collaborating.

  • Must have demonstrated leadership and engagement in YPO.
