YNG Assistant Learning Officer

MISSION OF THE yng ASSISTANT LEARNING OFFICER

Channel your personal inspiration and the input and ideas of your member peers to create an engaging, distinctive learning program that you will implement as a learning officer.


KEY GOALS of the yng ASSISTANT LEARNING OFFICER

  • Assess the value your community wants to receive from your upcoming learning year.

  • Plan and market a learning program that meets member needs across virtual and/or in-person event formats.

  • Identify event champions for your learning program.


RESPONSIBILITIES of the yng ASSITANT LEARNING OFFICER

  • Research your program by exploring your community’s interests, review data and define your passion and vision.

  • Identify resources, event formats and event champions to ensure events exceed the needs of the community’s members.

  • Recruit day chairs and moderators for specific events.

  • Ensure event champions are trained in all aspects of event development and execution.

  • Coordinate with the management associates to define and deliver learning interventions.

  • Market your program.

TIME INVESTMENT OF THE YNG ASSISTANT LEARNING OFFICER

  • Participate in a mix of virtual and in-person executive committee meetings (monthly/bimonthly/quarterly).

  • Participate in select events.

  • Meet virtually with YNG Community Chair regularly.

  • Meet virtually with management associates as needed.

QUALIFYING CRITERIA of the yng ASSISTANT LEARNING OFFICER

  • YNGer in good standing between the age of 18-30. 

  • Must have demonstrated leadership and engagement in YPO.
