Channel your passion into a community focused on providing young adults with experiences, knowledge and tools that can enhance leadership abilities and make personal lives more fulfilling.
KEY GOALS of the yng community chair
Advocate for your community through strategic planning, programming and budgeting.
Encourage engagement and participation by creating valuable content.
Enrich the health of your community by involving YNGers from regions around the world and utilizing communication, events, learning and leadership development best practices.
RESPONSIBILITIES of the yng community chair
Partner with the YPO Family Council member appointed Co-Chair to lead the YNG Community.
Maintain oversight of each officer’s responsibilities and succession planning.
Lead the community executive committee in creating the vision and objectives.
Establish agendas for calls and meetings.
Collaborate with Family Council Co-Chair and YNG Community Director to allocate the community’s budget.
Communicate with other YPO chairs for ideas, input and cooperation.
Attend the Family council meetings in person and via teleconference.
Actively solicit feedback from all members to ensure the community evolves appropriately and fulfills members.
