Your Opportunity to Lead the new YNG Community

YNG local and YNG+ are merging into a single, stronger community – the new YNG Community. This reimagined community needs strong leaders. We are now seeking engaged and enthusiastic members to serve on an executive committee through six elected positions. Each officer role will be integral in building out and championing participation in the new YNG Community.

The YNG Chair role is a two year term that will run 1 July 2021 - 30 June 2023.

The Learning, Assistant Learning, Engagement, Forum, and Impact roles are a one year term with the option to be elected to a second one year term. Each of these position’s first term will run from 1 July 2021 – 30 June 2022. 

*Please note that the Executive Committee is forming to drive the strategy of the entire YNG Community and YNG city-based groups will continue to be led by their selected leaders through the process they manage themselves.  YNG city-based leaders can hold a role on the YNG Community Executive Committee as well as in their city-based group if desired. 

The election process begins with a call out for nominations. Nominations can be submitted through a private form. YNG members can self-nominate or nominate a peer. Within the nomination form, be prepared to submit: your name, email address, name of the individual you’re nominating, email address of the nominee and why you are nominating the individual.

Once a nomination is received the YNG team will reach out to those individuals to let them know they have been nominated. Interested nominees will be prompted to fill out a candidate form and complete a video interview recording.

All submissions will be reviewed by the Family Council’s selection committee and finalized by the end of April 2021.

*The selection committee is comprised of YPO Family Council Members. YPO’s legal counsel identifies the selection committee members and identities are kept confidential.
