YNG+ (ages 18-30) is the Global Experience of YNG with a specific focus on International Programs, Events and connecting YNG+ members globally to explore opportunities within the wider YPO community and enhance their personal and professional and life goals.
YNG (18+, also referred to as YNG Local) is the Local Connection of CityGroups and @University groups, similar to a YPO chapter experience. CityGroups are led by YNG members at a local level and have an appointed CityLeader. Some CityGroups or Regions have an appointed Executive Committee or Board. YNG organize their own events at a Local community level, independently to YNG+, and are responsible for planning, managing and implementing their Events without resource from YPO or YNG+. Typically there is no fee to join a YNG CityGroup, however, some chapters/regions choose to implement a fee. Some CityGroups have also implemented age restrictions.
WHAT IS YNG+?
YNG+ is an opt-in user-pay program for YPO young adult children (ages 18-30). It's the gateway to an exclusive world of YNG+ opportunities, including an enhanced web and mobile platform, unforgettable events, dream jobs, experiential learning, and new best friends. YNG+ meets you where you are and helps you get to where you want to go—connecting you with your people, your purpose and your passion.
HOW MUCH DOES YNG+ COST?
The annual cost for YNG+ is US$295 per YNGer, with a maximum cost of US$895 per family. Annual YNG+ membership is 1 July to 30 June for each fiscal year. You can enroll at any point during the fiscal year, but the annual enrollment fee is not prorated.
HOW DO I ENROLL IN YNG+?
Option 1) YNG+ is available for rolling enrollment for the entire year. Your YPO member parent can contact YPO Member Services at membership@ypo.org any time to sign up.
Option 2) If you parent isn't tech friendly—you can fill out the enrollment form and ask them to sign it and send it to YPO.
CAN I JOIN BOTH YNG+ AND YNG LOCAL?
Yes! Similar to your parents' YPO experience, being part of YNG+ and YNG provides a local connection through a local CityGroup and forum and international networking through events and virtual career development programs.
HOW DO I ENROLL IN MY LOCAL CITYGROUP?
Find the CityGroup nearest you and contact the Regional Family Manager who oversees that region. Since YNG local offerings vary from city to city, your Regional Family Manager can let you know what's available, whether it's a CityGroup, @University group or Forum.
